EXAM TIME!
Sorry for the delay in posting!
Exam review time!!! We have covered a lot of information this semester. Use the following tips to make your studying productive and manageable.
I would encourage you to get into the groupshare for psych and e-mail the review powerpoint home for your reference. I also will be going over it in class on Friday.
Also, somewhere on this site (October maybe?) there is a link to the textbook's website. I would recommend using that to do practice questions and flashcards and other review stuff.
Old practice and real tests will be very useful to go over. Pay attention to rewrites!
Using the review sheet: Go over it first and somehow mark everything you know, kind of know, and do not at all remember. Use this as your guide. Don't spend time on what you already know... focus on the other two areas!
Study in different ways: old tests, vocab and notes, review sheet, powerpoint, flashcards, etc. Think of examples, use mnemonic devices...
OVERLEARN BY AT LEAST 100%! Meaning, if you feel like you know everything after studying for 3 hours...study for another 3 hours (break it up remember! I would recommend no more than 1/2 hour to 45 minutes without a break. Set goals!)
